Saturday September 18 is the Walnut Festival/ Twilight Parade in Walnut Creek. We hope all Minutemen friends and family will come out to cheer us on. More information will follow.

Please be sure your students had turned in the attached permission slip.

Blanket Permission Slips for the Marching Band and Auxiliary are provided below.  Please complete and return by first day of school, August 25, 2010.

Permission Slip for Twilight Parade and Broadway Parade of Lights
   As indicated, this permission slip is for the Walnut Creek Twilight Parade and Broadway Parade of Lights, Sept. 18th and Dec. 2nd.  The method of transportation for both events is Private Transportation from you own home.

Permission Slip for Trips Aboard Buses
   This blanket permission slip covers bus trips to Santa Cruz, Pleasanton, San Ramon, Merced and Oakland.

Welcome to all Returning and Incoming Students.  We are looking forward to an amazing Marching Band and Auxiliary year filled with fun and hard work for all. 

The Band Retreat is held at the Antioch Fair Grounds beginning August 16 (depart from CHS @6:30 am ) to August 18 (return to CHS @10:00 am).  Please print, complete and sign the Permission Slip below and send it with your student no later than August 13, 2010 (if you are out of town and student is planning on attending, I must have it handed to me Monday morning, Aug. 16, 2010, before departing for the Antioch Fairgrounds).
